Grab that sushi out of the air and win. Check out the new skill-and-action game from Redwood Ventures, makers of the hot squish toy Smooshy Mushy. This is their first family game, and it’s a riot. Set it up, turn it on, and watch as the sushi pieces (small foam balls painted to look like sushi) fly into the air off the bamboo shoots. Turn over a card and use the chopsticks to grab the pieces you need out of the air. But hurry up! You’ve only got a quick minute to fill the order…or only 45 seconds if it’s a rush order. Flying Sushi Kitchen is the first family skill and action game from Redwood Ventures. Players have to build sushi orders, , but there’s a twist. The sushi is flying. Air going up through bamboo shoots keeps the foam, faux sushi suspended in the air, and players use chopsticks to catch them. On each turn you have to fill an order, and if you do, you get paid. When you start a regular order, you have 60 seconds to complete it. You might get a rush order, however, and then you’ll only have 45 seconds. This game takes a little skill, and a lot of concentration. Assembly is easy, and the fan unit takes 4 C batteries, which are not included.
